Annual Conference
The West Virginia Section American Water Works Association and the West Virginia Water Environment Association board of directors invite you to attend the 2013 Annual AWWA/WEA Joint Conference May 19-22. This year’s conference will take place at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va., located near Beckley.
2013 Boy Scouts Jamboree
We encourage all WV-AWWA members to plan ahead now to participate with the section at the 2013 Boy Scout Jamboree, scheduled for July 15-23, 2013. The Jamboree is being built to accommodate 40,000 Scouts and 7,000 leaders at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, located on 1,300 acres of the 10,600 acres owned by the Boy Scouts of America next to the New River Gorge National River Park and the New River.

Beckley Water Company Team Wins 2012 Pipe Tapping Competition
After a several year hiatus, the WV-AWWA section’s pipe tapping competition returned at the 2012 West Virginia Construction and Design Expo on Wednesday, March 22 at the Civic Center in Charleston. Each team consisted of three workers and one coach. All persons on the team must be either WV-AWWA members
